Anyone who visits the Berlin Botanical Garden can travel around the world in a short time.

A walk covering 13 hectares takes you from Europe over the Alps and the Himalayas to Asia and from there on to North America. The extraordinary landscape architecture was conceived and designed by the first director of the garden at the Dahlem location, Adolf Engler. It makes the Berlin Botanical Garden unique in the world.

Together with the experts, you will hike through forests, mountains, meadows and steppes, discover plants from three continents and immerse yourself in Engler's living legacy.
