The failed assassination attempt carried out by Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg was the largest attempted coup by the German resistance against the Nazi leadership. However, even if this coup had been successful, it would have come too late for large parts of the Jewish population of Europe. The Holocaust had already largely been accomplished by this time.

The disputes about the "conspirators" of July 20, who came from different social groups, and their motives are not yet over.

Therefore, the short tour discusses the motives and plans of that resistance network. It also places the planned coup in the series of previous assassination attempts.
