Diverse events await the public on the picturesque grounds of Schloss & Gut Liebenberg.

The DKB STIFTUNG's summer program at Schloss & Gut Liebenberg offers guided tours for International Museum Day, cozy concerts and film evenings at the open air cinema in the castle park and much more.

The DKB FOUNDATION for social engagement is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To mark this occasion, the Cultural Summer will take place from June to August 2024, offering a variety of mostly free events and activities. These events are intended to bring people from the region and visitors from outside together.

Highlights of the cultural summer:

  • Open air cinema in the castle park: Current films are shown in the open air.
  • Concerts and culinary offerings: A varied program with musical performances and culinary delights.
  • Summer holiday program for children: Creative workshops on topics such as nature, fashion and history. Children and young people can make their own films in the media workshop, prepare dishes from fresh ingredients and learn more about the interaction between people and nature in ecologically managed areas.
  • Fête de la Musique: A colorful music program awaits visitors in Grüneberg on June 21st.
  • Brandenburg country tour: discovery tours into the rural surroundings.
  • Havelländer Puppet Stage: plays and performances for the whole family.

In addition, on International Museum Day, May 19, the site's historical heritage will be highlighted. Free guided tours on the history of the castle are offered, which shed light on the historical context and teach us how we can learn from the past for today's coexistence.

The cultural summer sets an example for a future worth living and for cultural and sustainable education. Caring for historical heritage strengthens the connection between past and present to promote cultural identity and a sense of community.
