In her egg tempera paintings I show human figures in a choreographed network of relationships. She finds her motifs in hectic city life. They take on an idiosyncratic density and distance.

To do this, the painter chooses an extreme perspective, usually a bird's eye view. The view from above allows her to become an eyewitness, a documentarian of a fleeting movement that is not happening for her.

Small-format outdoor drawings of architectural and landscape spaces have been her artistic focus since 2019.

Her work is based on the Adriatic, the North and Baltic Seas, in the Emsland, the Lower Oder Valley, in Munich, Berlin and Groningen.

The color palette of the drawings is only partially based on reality. She is consciously guided by the impressions of the location.
