The two-hour tour will take you through the exciting history of Tempelhofer Feld, from the Ice Age formations to its current use as a public space and former airport. Find out how the climate and water have shaped the landscape and what role they play in Berlin's history.


But the past is not the only focus of this tour. Participants will also take a look at the anthropogenic history of this former airport site and the consequences of human activities on the soil. They also discuss current challenges such as drought, sealing and contaminated sites and their effects on the soil and the environment.
