Bauhaus Bustour

Is
Berlin a city shaped by the Bauhaus? Or did Berlin since 1900, this
laboratory of the avant-garde in all areas, not rather inspire the ideas
of the Bauhaus? Comfortably by bus we travel to the few preserved
historical examples of the Bauhaus. In addition, we encounter many prime
examples of the 1920s on the outskirts of the city: the detached house
in the countryside, mass housing for workers and buildings for
transport, pleasure and teaching. And we follow the traces of
architectural modernism in the industrial buildings in Moabit and
Wedding. Berlin's reconstruction since the 1950s also offers us the
opportunity to follow the influences of the Bauhaus in socialist and
democratic urban planning.

Info: North and south route in modifications. Please note that no interior visits are planned.
