As the son of Frederick William III, Prince Carl of Prussia was always in the political shadow of his older brothers Frederick William IV and William I. Through the reconstruction of Glienicke Palace and the creation of the Glienicke Palace and Landscape Garden in its present form, Prince Carl left a rare treasure to posterity.
