The first institutional survey exhibition on the artist Noah Davis (1983–2015) will open in autumn 2024 at the MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam. The exhibition presents the renowned artist as one of the most original, enigmatic and impressive painters of recent years.

The chronological retrospective illuminates Davis' tireless creativity and curiosity - from his first exhibition in 2007 to his untimely death in 2015.

It shows previously unpublished paintings, works on paper and sculptures from the eight years of his artistic work.

A particular focus is on the art historical and conceptual approaches in his work, which makes it clear that art history, imagery and humor, but above all people, have always been at the center of his practice.

This project is organized in close collaboration with the Estate of Noah Davis and the David Zwirner Gallery.
