The 10th birthday: A day of promise for Nono and the beginning of a golden future. That's why he's been planning a huge party since he was little, the party of all parties, the absolutely greatest fiesta.
His very best friends will be there and he might even kiss a girl on the mouth.
But then, in the middle of the preparations, a storm comes up and threatens to devastate the entire country. Everyone has to stay at home and no one knows how long the hurricane will last. What will become of Nono's birthday and the party he and his friends have been waiting for their whole life, the fiesta of their dreams? The children have to muster all their courage and ingenuity to find their way together.
Gwendoline Soublin, winner of the German Children's Theater Prize 2022, transforms a birthday party into a festival for life itself in "Fiesta".
Director Ebru Tartıcı Borchers brings this celebration to the stage.
