Harald Martenstein has been writing unusual Christmas stories for many years - with black humor, but also with a lot of love.

Harald Martenstein, born in Mainz in 1953, received the Egon-Erwin-Kisch Prize in 2004. His novel "Heimweg" was awarded the Corine in 2007, and in 2010 he received the Curt Goetz Ring.

His books published by C. Bertelsmann include "Ansichten eines Hausschweins" (2011), "Wachsen Ananas auf Bäumen?" (2012), "Freuet euch, Bernhard kommt bald!" (2013), "Die neuen Leiden des alten M." (2014), "Nettsein ist auch keine Lösung" (2016), and "Jeder lügt so gut er kann" (2018).
