Schleusenkrug
The trendy place to be in Tiergarten for mild summer nights with barbecues and twittering birds.
The Schleusenkrug is one of the classics among the Berliner beer gardens. One can wave to the passing boats, which run on the Tiergarten canals, or retire into one of the shady rear nooks; to mention is also its close proximity to the zoo, so after a nice stroll through the zoo, one can bide here a while. There is space for 70 people inside, and outside for 500.
