Dichterlesen.net is a free audio archive that can be used worldwide and offers event recordings from more than half a century of German and international literary history for re-listening. By processing current and older events from all partners, the archive is growing continuously: currently, more than 1300 events can be listened to, the earliest dating back to 1950.

Dichterlesen.net is thus developing into an author-initiated literary history of reading on the web.
In September 2011, the project was launched under the name Lesungen.net on the initiative of the LCB.
