He belongs to the most successful Berliner fashion designers: Michael Michalsky—classic styles combined with street wear influences, discrete luxury and big city cosmopolitan flair—a nexus of quality, tradition and current trends.
A label whose current collection designs certainly fit the economic downturn: all-over prints that are based on stocks from 1929 and luxurious diamond prints that symbolize ultimate decadence, old and new, cheap and expensive. He was Design Manager at Levis and international Creative Director at adidas. He first presented his own premium line in 2007.
