New York’s signature round snack with a hole isn’t the donut, but the bagel. You can now taste all of the Big Apple’s classic bagels and Jewish deli classics a stone’s throw from Görlitzer Park in the centre of Alt-Treptow.
Your plain, poppy seed or caraway bagels can be enjoyed with a classic lochs (salmon) or cream cheese topping as well as a smorgasbord of the new and old toppings. Try peanut butter, hummus or sun-dried tomatoes and olives. From 8 am – 4 pm during the week or 9 am – 4 pm at the weekends, bite into a beer Reuben or BLT sandwich or warm your heart with some chicken and matzo ball soup. For breakfast lovers, dive into eggs benedict and French toast with a smoothie or one of the coffee classics.
