Maqu Store & Studio

In the shop near Warschauer Straße, which is also a studio, designer Marisa Fuentes Prado creates sustainable fashion for her eco and fair fashion label Maqu. She herself comes from Peru and is in close contact with the producers of the raw materials and the tailors. For example, alpaca wool, a traditional material from the designer's homeland, is used in the Maqu collections. Care is also taken to ensure that all other materials are organically produced. Among other things, certified organic cotton, Lyocell and Tencel are used. Marisa Fuentes Prado has already been nominated for several awards for ethical fashion. In addition to sustainable raw materials and fair production conditions, Maqu regularly supports social projects in Peru.
