Christmas market from 1 to 3 December 2023 in Berlin
Festively decorated stalls invite you to spend a Christmassy afternoon in the park at Schönhausen Palace on the first weekend of Advent. Wind instruments and choir music play while you stroll through the palace park and warm your hands with a mug of mulled wine or punch.
After a stroll through the wintry park, you can look forward to a delicious barbecue as well as biscuits and biscuits from the Christmas bakery. Reusable crockery is used for serving drinks as well as for all sweet and savoury treats.
You will find mainly local manufacturers at the stands. From fashion and art to handcrafted items, everything is on offer. Four manufacturers will be giving live performances to show how they make their products, including jewellery, corsetry, ceramics and wood art.
A daily changing stage programme provides entertainment and a festive atmosphere. Listen to local choirs and brass ensembles. For younger guests, there are magical stage productions of Christmas tales. And on Friday evening, a dance orchestra will perform. The programme also includes the Christmas tree auction on Sunday at 5.30 pm. The proceeds will be donated.
Use your visit to the Manufakturen Christmas Market for a winter stroll through the castle park. Schönhausen Palace is also open on Saturday and Sunday with reduced admission and guided tours.
The Manufakturen Christmas Market in Schönhausen Palace Park can be reached by train, bus and tram in just over half an hour from the city centre. We recommend travelling by public transport.
