Competence in gay and lesbian matters
The LSVD is very active throughout Germany as a lobby organisation for gays and lesbians. Its regional group offers many advice services and, as well as its political work, also organises regular panel discussions, sports events, and workshops for disseminators.
The aim of the LSVD is always to bring people together and fight discrimination. As well as this social and political work, the LSVD Berlin-Brandenburg also provides a contact point for all issues relating to gay and lesbian life. There are specific advice services for gays and lesbians who want to have children, legal issues, and homosexuality in football.
