The Liberate

This bar adds an extra touch of glitz to the Mitte district. The cocktailbar The Liberate is completely covered in gold. It makes the neighbourhood around the Hackescher Markt attractive for gay and lesbian tourists late at night as well. With its two lavish curved counters, the gold coloured interior is a feast for the eyes.

Larger groups can comfortably ensconce themselves on the large inviting benches against the wall. The professionally mixed cocktails are highly recommended. Though the façade of the building may look cool from the outside, the warm, golden atmosphere of the bar and the lavish room inside are even more of a pleasant surprise.
