Partying in Prenzlauer Berg
In the heart of the trendy Prenzlauer Berg district is the Schönhauser Allee neighbourhood. After the Wall fell, the area became a popular destination for night owls and party-goers. Today, the scene is mainly restaurants and bars, including the rooftop terrace Deck5 as well as the oldest beer garden in Berlin, the Prater Biergarten.
The Kulturbrauerei complex is at the southern end of Schönhauser Allee. The former Schultheiss brewery is now home to restaurants, bars, and clubs, as well as a stage for theatre and a cinema. What's the best way to get to Schönhauser Allee?
Take the U2 or the tram lines M1, M10 oder 12 to Eberswalder Straße. Visitors to Schönhauser Allee can take the S-Bahn or U2 to Schönhauser Allee. Tram lines 50 and M1 also stop at Schönhauser Allee. The N2 night bus stops at both Eberswalder Straße and Schönhauser Allee.
