Freizeitforum Marzahn

Culture, sport and leisure time

The Freizeitforum Marzahn in the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf is the largest cultural and leisure centre in the north-east of Berlin. Its wide range of facilities includes an indoor swimming pool with sauna, its own women's sports hall including a women's fitness area, the Arndt-Bause-Saal, a large theatre hall, an amphitheatre, a studio stage and small club rooms, as well as the "Mark Twain" library and the FAIR youth leisure centre. So it offers fun and entertainment, culture, education, sports and recreation for young and old. This makes the Freizeitforum one of the top addresses for families in Berlin.

In the Freizeitforum Marzahn you will find:

Culture house

The heart of the Freizeitforum is the architecturally impressive Arndt-Bause-Saal, with its approximately 400 square meter ceiling painting by the Berlin painter and graphic artist Peter Hoppe. Here take place concerts, performances, readings, exhibitions and much more.

indoor swimming pool

The swimming pool with the associated sauna is a magnet in Berlin, because it is one of the few swimming pools in the city, which are open throughout the summer holidays. Whether blue sky and bright sun, whether pouring rain or white snowflakes - through the generous panoramic windows of the indoor swimming pool opens the wide view to the outside and penetrates bright light in the always summery with 26 degrees air temperature.

Womens sports hall

In the in-house women's sports hall, the non-profit sports club Fit and Fun Marzahn e.V. (FFM e.V.) offers a varied exercise program in health, fitness, gymnastics and dance as well as in self-defense.

Library "Mark Twain"

The modern library offers around 130,000 media, including DVD, Blu-Ray, conventional and electronic games, audiobooks and a music library with sheet music and CDs.

Youth club FAIR

The FAIR addresses its offer to youthful visitors. There are band rehearsals, sports or homework help, black light theater, karaoke or various workshop offers.
