Well, that's it then. After exactly 20 years it's over. On January 31st, You Me At Six officially announced the end of their band. After eight albums - most recently "Truth Decay", which was released last year - all but the debut of which entered the top ten of the British charts and reached number one twice, and countless performances by the English from small clubs to have taken them to the biggest halls, singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Chris Miller and Max Helyer, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Dan Flint are now writing the final chapter of their careers.

Their often poppy interpretation of indie rock, which they spiced up with elements from other genres when necessary, made them a perfect choice for energetic live performances. No matter whether it was metal riffs, screamo interludes or even classic hard rock quotes: You Me At Six have never cared about conventions and styles and instead have always unwaveringly gone their own way.

Although the band has already released a farewell video, the boys are going on another big farewell tour at the end of 2024 to say goodbye to their numerous fans in a fitting and loud way.
