by Léonard Engel · Guest performance as part of PURPLE – International Dance Festival for Young Audiences

In "Wusch! Zak Puf!" three green figures transform an empty stage into a landscape in which they can let their dreams run free. They bring bizarre creatures to life: There is the zebra that doesn't want to show itself; the peacock that tries to enchant us with its bright colors or the gentle moss giant that doesn't quite know what shape it wants to take.

For "Wusch! Zak Puf!" Tamara, Jemima and Léonard have developed choreographic material inspired by the camouflage behavior of various animal species. How would people move if they were a stick insect pretending to be a branch? How can they cross the stage without anyone noticing that they are even there?

The piece offers a cheerful and poetic entertainment in which strange creatures keep appearing, transforming into new forms before the audience's eyes and then disappearing again. It is up to the audience's imagination what they discover!
