WOUND is a dance ritual addressed to grieving communities and collective grief, on the path of healing and reconciliation; to reconcile with the past, recognize the present and build a future through human bonds.
I have a wound
A wound is what I have
Deep in the tissue of my cells
Deep down
Cutting a hole
Through layers of geological flesh
Scars
To Mother Earth
Not only planet Earth, its soil and nature bear the wounds of mass destruction over centuries of wars and colonization, but our human soul also bears them. They become a wound of humanity, a genetic imprint across cultures and geographies.
WOUND is a dance ritual addressed to grieving communities and collective grief, on the path of healing and reconciliation; to reconcile with the past, acknowledge the present and build a future through human connection and bonding with nature, water and the human body/soil.
