Wilfried Schmickler is undoubtedly one of the outstanding political cabaret artists in this country. After more than 40 years on stage, he is now presenting his latest program: “Mr. Schmickler please”.

He travels across the Republic's stages again, armed with the truth and a razor-sharp sense of humor that takes the audience into a brilliant, breathtaking evening - as masterful as an executioner with his axe.
Wilfried Schmickler was awarded the four most prestigious cabaret prizes: the Prix Pantheon, the German Cabaret Prize, the German Cabaret Prize and the Salzburger Stier. For almost 30 years he was an integral part of the WDR midnight peaks (known for "Stop Mr. Becker"), and every Monday shortly before 11 a.m. he moderates the "Monday Question" on WDR 2.
In November 2021 he received the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, further recognition of his outstanding achievements.
