90 years ago, the Jewish German writer, anarchist and political activist Erich Mühsam was murdered by the National Socialists in the Oranienburg concentration camp. But he is not only remembered for his courage and his unwavering commitment to peace and humanity.

His brilliant satirical, humorously self-ironic and poignantly serious poems and texts make him an unforgettable writer and poet.

Christoph Schambach set Mühsam's poems to music during his service with the unarmed construction soldiers of the GDR - himself in search of attitude and decency in politically difficult times - to a cheeky, cheerful and moving program. It combines the memory of the poet and human being Erich Mühsam with the timeless questions of peace, humanity and courage.

The actor Daniel Morgenroth (recitation/singing), accompanied by Christoph Schambach on the piano, manages to touch us and at the same time entertain us with his unmistakable interpretations.
