Three large screens hang like windows in the room of St. Elisabeth Church - they show videos of singers and landscapes from the Ukrainian region of Luhansk. Berlin and Ukrainian singers (composition choir Paulina Kühling) interact with the videos and try to bridge the insurmountable distance to the villages that have been occupied by Russia since 2022 through song.

Together with the multi-channel sound composition (Martyna Poznańska) by field recordings from Luhansk and the video composition (Matthias Schönijahn), they create an immersive space.

With singers from Bilolutzk, Osinove and Horodyshche and Berlin and Ukrainian singers: Agnieszka Bułacik, Ewa Brokos, Mina Djordjević, Katharina Fischer, Natalia Lachecka, Joana Katarzyna Pietras, Ola Zielińska, Vlada Rusina, Tereza Yakovyna, Vira Khorsun, Igor Dimitrijew

Artistic direction, videos, direction and space: Matthias Schönijahn
Choir direction, vocal composition choir: Paulina Miu Kühling
