The New Piano Trio of the “Pool of Invention” offers an unprecedented new approach to the fugue as the supreme compositional discipline of the Baroque. In “Fuga in Odd”, Florian Willeitner already combined strict counterpoint with Balkan rhythmic fire. He now takes this idea a step further.
