At the Young Euro Classic 2024, the audience celebrates with the Western Balkans Youth Orchestra at the audience festival after the concert - if the construction work on the Gendarmenmarkt allows it.

The West Balkans Youth Orchestra (WBYO), which is now appearing at Young Euro Classic for the third time, and its leader Desar Sulejmani, a German with Albanian roots, rely on diverse programs in which the music of their home countries is always integrated - like this can also be experienced this summer in new orchestral arrangements of rock and pop hits from the region.
At the beginning there is the overture to Verdi's opera The Power of Fate, while the second part is dedicated to Modest Mussorgsky's cycle Pictures at an Exhibition - but not in the well-known orchestration of Maurice Ravel, but in the much more "Russian" orchestral version by Sergei Gortchakov 1955. Another premiere at Young Euro Classic in the 25th year of the festival!
