At Christmas, of all times, love between people shows itself in a particularly pure form, like a light in the darkness - this idea may have gone somewhat out of fashion.

But we would like to associate this time even less with pure evil.
Sebastian Krämer, however, does just that: Pure malice is revealed on an initially peaceful Christmas Eve in the noughties under the Christmas tree of the East Westphalian Gryga family. The reading of the story about a childish brotherly quarrel and the cool light of a flashlight is repeatedly interrupted by ingenious chansons, as one has come to expect from Krämer.
