Concert evening with Masen Abou-Dakn and Michael "Kosho" Koschorreck

In his songs, Masen tells of happy people and doubters. Of lovers and shy people. Of irritating train journeys and proud summer days. Masen and Kosho sing and pluck, scream, moan, groove, sweat, laugh, ponder, dance, stomp and growl, are simply themselves - with their voices and on their guitars.

And between the rich songs, Masen chats wittily and touchingly about our beguiling world and all the strange coexistence. Biting, melancholic, smiling and warm. If you want to practice singing along: many songs can be heard under »Masen Abou-Dakn« on all streaming platforms.

Masen Abou-Dakn has been writing music for over thirty years and, among other things, works as a lecturer at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim. Since 2001 he has released three albums of music. His current album “What it was and what we want it to be” was released in 2023.

This album was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award in the same year. Michael “Kosho“Koschorreck has been an experienced touring and solo guitarist for many years with Söhne Mannheims, André Heller and Laith Al-Deen, among others.
