Verstrickt und Zugetextet is the creative reading for a podcast of the same name, in which authors compare their writing with their other artistic and craft processes.
During the evening, the authors perform live - the audience is invited to live out their own creativity during this time. Feel free to bring paper, pens, brushes, colours, instruments, knitting looms, needles or dancing shoes.
The entry is free.
After studying theatre studies, Carmen Blazejewski worked at the Volksbühne with Heiner Müller and Benno Besson, among others. She has written numerous radio plays and screenplays and realised artistic documentary films.
Her literature for children has been published by Friedrich Oetinger Verlag Hamburg, her first novel in 2011 by Grünberg Verlag, stories and poems since 1989 in literary magazines and anthologies, most recently in 2024 from the story Die Treppe. A residency scholarship took her to Gotland, reading tours throughout Germany and to Austria, Italy, Denmark and Switzerland. A basic idea of her texts lies in the dialectical approach of showing the socially engaged in the most intimate material. The social contaminates or destroys the intimate.
Born in France in 1982, Everest Girard has lived in Germany for 20 years. She has lived and worked in Rostock as a freelance author and translator since 2016. She writes short stories and performs on reading stages. In spring 2022, she founded the open-air theatre terrain vague: freiluftexte together with Claudia Schlegel and David Lorenz. She is currently working on her first novel, for which she received a working grant from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In 2023 she started the podcast VERSTRICKT UND ZUGETEXTET with Marion Skepenat.
Marion Skepenat is working on her third novel and also writes short stories. Her first short story appeared in the literary magazine Reflexe in 2005. Since then, she has published in numerous literary magazines and anthologies. She was a finalist in the M-V Literature Prize in 2016 and received a scholarship from Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop in 2017. In October 2020, the author made her debut with her novel Ammenmärchen published by Grünberg Verlag. In her writing, Marion Skepenat deals with unspoken inner-figural and inner-societal conflicts. Her protagonists are driven by a higher sense of justice and operate in an environment that can only be endured with irony or melancholy.
Anke vom Sund is an author from Stralsund who lives and works in Stralsund and Berlin. She is the owner of the Fisch&Kopp label, a label for poetry in everyday life, with which she realises creative formats of interdisciplinary artistic collaboration such as KUNST unter LEUTE. In her literary work, she makes cross-genre connections with sound, space and image. She has published in various anthologies and magazines and is the author of ABC zur SEE.
The special message in a bottle. In October 2022, she was nominated for the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Literature Prize and won the Audience Award. She is currently a mentee in the 6th round of mentoringKUNST at the Berufsverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (BBK M-V e.V.).
