Concert with the Ensemble La Risonanza Potsdam
Around 1750, the Dresden court orchestra was probably the best orchestra in Europe, shaped by two musicians: Joh. G. Pisendel, German violin virtuoso and close friend of Antonio Vivaldi, and the opera composer Joh. Adolf Hasse, known in Italy as "the divine Saxon".
The fascination of Italian music of this period can be experienced: powerful, gripping rhythms, breathtaking virtuosity and beguiling vocalism.
