Festival of quieter sounds

The Unpluggedival is a small but exquisite, voluntarily organised Berlin festival of quieter sounds, a good atmosphere and the opportunity for moments.

18.00 John McShultz
Outside

John McShultz tried his hand at guitar, clarinet and singing at a young age. He later added electric guitar, harmonica, drum computer, effects and keyboard to his western guitar. The German poetic texts have already been published as a selection in the poetry book "Sehnsucht nach Nirgendwo" (Longing for Nowhere) by Geest-Verlag in 2015. A CD was not long in coming, and the first music videos have just appeared on YouTube. John McShultz has never regretted his decision to live his dream and make music!

19.00 Guido Rauch
- In the hall

Guido Rauch is no longer very young and has been playing bass in various Berlin indie rock bands for several years. As a songwriter, he also likes to stand alone in front of the microphone with his guitar. In his songs, the wrecking ball swings back and forth somewhere between DIY punk and Billy Bragg. He doesn't mind being pigeonholed with Isolation Berlin and Voodoo Jürgens.

20.00 Lucie & Franz
- Outside

Lucie & Franz have had a musical and emotional connection since 2018, which they live out with the exquisite sound of an acoustic guitar and their two harmonising voices. She comes from France, he from Frankfurt - and they sing in English and French as well as Brazilian. Together they swing through a repertoire of cover songs of all kinds, from jazz and chanson to swing, bossa nova, blues and pop songs. For listeners, their music is like a gentle poetic bubble in which they can float cosily and dreamily. Culinarily untalented, they prefer to serve up acoustic gourmet pieces for a fine ambience!

20.30 Georg Kostron Trio
- In the hall

The singer, bassist and satirist Georg Kostron comes from Vienna and has been part of the Berlin art scene since 2012. Norman Daßler is a music producer, guitarist and arranger based in Leipzig. Alexandra Huchet is a video artist from Orléans and is currently active in Berlin. The trio plays at the intersection of concert, cabaret and video performance. Their programme "Wiener Gebiss" (Viennese Dentures) sheds light on the lustfully biting, dialectal, absurd but also tender poetry of post-war Vienna and interweaves it with Kostron's original pieces to create a waltz - upside down - of pop, punk and poetry.
