Mossy, whose real name is Adrian Noack, was born in 1996 and is a Berlin artist. Originally from a geography background, he eventually found his own way into art.
He says of his exhibition: “Undercurrent is what I imagine to be a deeper current. It remains unaffected by events on the surface and moves slowly but steadily. That also describes my creative process best. My pictures are created away from social media and mainly document my life. I paint moments and people that inspire me and sometimes just what feels right. There also have to be things that aren't on the internet. That's why you're more likely to find me with my partner at art markets or painting on a street corner somewhere, 'plein air' so to speak.”
The exhibition can be seen in the foyer of the library until April 30, 2025 during opening hours.
The vernissage will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Köpenick Central Library – with musical accompaniment by KAZMS (vocals & guitar).
