On December 6, 2024, the historic Green Salon of the Volksbühne in Berlin will shine with "Ukrainian Female Voices" - a powerful event that celebrates the strength and resilience of Ukrainian culture through the voices of three outstanding female artists.

This evening is more than a concert: it is a tribute to the unbreakable spirit of a people whose voices do not fall silent even in the face of war. Since 2022, Ukraine has endured great suffering, but its artists have continued to sing and with their music have carried a message of hope and strength to the world.
The three musicians Anastasiya Voytyuk, Dana Vynnystka and Ganna Gryniva - each with their own unique talent - tell personal stories through their music and combine traditional Ukrainian songs with modern compositions that reflect the enduring yet changeable nature of their homeland.
Each singer will give a solo performance that takes the audience on their individual journey and into the Ukrainian cultural landscape. The evening culminates in a moving ensemble performance under the direction of Ganna Gryniva, in which the artists embody unity, resilience and the healing power of music in shared songs.
The event is supported by the Ukrainian Institute and curated by Mariana Bondarenko (Head of the Music Department of the Ukrainian Institute) and Yalda Yazdani of Transmusikale e.V. This evening creates a space in which music acts as a bridge between communities, tells unheard stories and plants the seeds of peace.
