The Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination invites you to the conference "Together against labor exploitation - Strengthening good work in Europe".
On November 8, 2024 in Berlin, the event is aimed at representatives from politics, associations, administration, business and civil society.
Participation is possible both on site and via livestream.
The focus of the conference is the urgent social problem of the systematic exploitation of workers, especially mobile workers within the EU.
The event addresses how international and national efforts to combat labor exploitation can be better coordinated and presents numerous specialist lectures and discussions on successful approaches and best practices from Europe.
There are numerous hurdles for those affected:
Language barriers, lack of knowledge about rights and social isolation encourage labor exploitation. The conference also sheds light on the criminal law dimension, which is often shaped by organized criminal structures.
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
The conference will be broadcast in English and German via LIVESTREAM
