Francisco Camacho & Meg Stuart

The collaboration between Meg Stuart and Francisco Camacho traces back to the beginning of their careers. Now they reunite on stage for a duet, drawing inspiration from the Nuragic ruins of Sardinia – remnants of a rich culture that slowly eroded.

In a landscape that seems to exist outside of time, the artists delve into the gaps and absences in the record, excavating emotional artefacts. They channel a lost language with their voices, and meet through rhythm and repetition.
By listening to the past, they construct an archeology of the present that does not distinguish between the mystical and the mundane.
