From 24 to 26 January 2025, the Super Silent concert series will return to the stunning atmosphere of the Emmauskirche in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
This unique series combines contemporary classical, minimal music, improvised sounds and electronic music, inviting the audience to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and discover new sound worlds in the special acoustics of the Emmauskirche.
Programme:
24 January 2025:
- STUDNITZKY & TAPE SHIFTER (with Demian Kappenstein, known from the pop duo ÄTNA) followed by a concert by the exceptionally talented Ludwig Wandinger.
25 January 2025:
- The evening, curated by FRAMED, presents the duo Tamar Halperin & Guy Sternberg, whose sound fills the church, as well as Tamuz Dekel with his unmistakable style.
26 January 2025:
- On the occasion of her 77th birthday, Aki Takase will perform in a duo with the celebrated soprano Mayumi Nakamura.
- The festival will conclude with the Materia Air project with Beat Weyeneth (Klangstein instruments), Julius Apriadi (barrel organ) and Claudio Puntin (winds).
On all three days, an art exhibition by the artist Anna Nezhnaya will accompany the concerts. Curated by FRAMED, her neon objects and a large-format painting blend atmospherically into the architecture of the Emmauskirche and enhance the meditative atmosphere of the concert series.
