The Wildfires are Elizabeth Carlton from Tennessee, USA and Paul Bonin from London, England. They met for the first time in Berlin, Germany and their music has been described as follows: "Simon & Garfunkel meet Emmylou Harris in Dolly Parton's house that Paul Weller is trying to break into."

It's a mix of folk, pop and country, but not as we know it.

The Wildfires believe in getting to the heart of the matter and it is their perfect, soulful harmonies that can really hurt and confuse the listener, blurring the line between pain and pleasure. There is always something exciting in their songs, something thrilling, something that can be traced back to their interwoven double harmony vocals that have a deep emotional note and are reminiscent of the duets of Johnny Cash and June Carter, Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons or Graham Nash and Joni Mitchell in the 60s and 70s - Paul Bonin and Elizabeth Carlton have discovered a real treasure in their shared musicality that they have transformed into something touching and true.

With their unique transatlantic blend of voices, The Wildfires have managed to create their own Brit-Americana sound and in 2014 they released their first album 'One', produced by David Young, who has also produced John Cale's albums, Nico and Element of Crime, among many others.

In the summer of 2016, after two years of touring Sweden, Norway, England, Denmark and over two hundred concerts throughout Germany, The Wildfires released “All That’s Left is Right”, a 5-track EP with new songs with a full band, including flying pedal steel guitar, strong double vocals and meaningful lyrics – in short: rich, very personal folk pop.
