Crime comedy by Frank Piotraschke

An entertaining, at the same time absurd and complex production in a unique amphitheater. A common scam in which criminals contact elderly people and pose as their grandchildren or close relatives. The perpetrators pretend to urgently need financial support and defraud their victims.

But what happens when the tables are turned?

True to the motto “the old ones strike back,” the story between the quick-witted Veronica and her absent-minded grandson Manfred gets completely out of control. When Manfred visits his grandmother Veronica after a 16-year break in contact, everything awaits him except what follows. First, the older lady tells him that she would like to make him the sole heir, but not without certain conditions.

What Manfred then discovers in the basement awakens his instinct to flee in a flash. But the front door is locked and his cell phone is missing. And for Veronica, the conversation is far from over.

“The Grandchildren's Trick” is an entertaining, at the same time absurd and complex production that deals with an extremely current topic in an amusing way.
