Panel discussion
Using the example of UFA star Joachim Gottschalk (1904 - 1941) and the experiences of the Mendelssohn family in the "Third Reich", the discussion will focus on perseverance in times of resignation - with film historian Rosemarie Kilius (upon request), Mendelssohn biographer Thomas Lackmann and journalist Christian Schröder as moderator.
Afterwards, the film "You and I" (1938, 103 min.) by director Wolfgang Liebeneiner with Joachim Gottschalk, Brigitte Horney and others will be shown.
