Medieval music with the duo VORTEX
The Vortex ensemble was founded out of a shared passion for medieval music. A central goal of the duo is to revive rarely performed repertoire and highlight the common roots of European and Middle Eastern music. The focus is on modal and improvisational elements, playful expression, and the spiritual dimension of the music.
