Liberating Echoes
Liberating Echoes is a chamber music festival that understands music as a sonic space for remembrance and as a living force for freedom, expression, and connection—beyond borders, barriers, and oblivion.
With five concerts at three venues, we bring together symbolic musical programs, distinctive artistic voices, and inspiring spaces in Berlin.
What remains of music, what does it set free?
Founded by pianist Catalin Serban and cellist Andrei Ioniță, Die Spielende Insel ("The Playing Island") unites outstanding musicians from the young international classical scene to create chamber music at the highest level in changing constellations.
