In the 1990s, Christine Schornsheim, Georg Kallweit and Jan Freiheit joined forces to form the Berliner Barock-Compagney. The ensemble made a name for itself with many concert appearances and CD recordings, especially with chamber music from the early 18th century.
After a break of a few years, the trio is now being revived at SPAM. Amid the statues and busts of the exhibition “Unveiled – Berlin and its Monuments”, the audience can listen to the finest baroque music.
Georg Kallweit, violin | Jan Freiheit, cello | Christine Schornsheim, harpsichord
With works by Johann Sebastian Bach and others
