The group exhibition The Space In Between is dedicated to the often overlooked spaces in between – those invisible connections between past and present, reality and memory, body and identity, resistance and everyday life.
Eight female photographers take the audience on a visual journey through forgotten places and repressed histories, through political struggles and personal traumas, through social structures and their dissolution.
Their works range from landscape to street photography, from the ephemeral to the present, from the intimate to the political.
Often it is the nuances that have the greatest impact.
- What stories are hidden between the lines?
- What traces are left by the unsaid?
- And how can the invisible be made visible?
The Space In Between invites you to take a closer look – and to bring the hidden to light.
An exhibition by the seminar of Mustafah Abdulaziz at the Ostkreuz School for Photography, Berlin.
