Sonic Interventions, a collective of interdisciplinary artists from five continents, is currently active in Berlin. Founded in 2020 in the dynamic Berlin jazz scene, the ensemble combines a variety of languages with instruments such as saxophone, keyboards and timbales.

Sonic Interventions integrates futuristic visions and styles such as hip-hop, trap and house into their sound fusion, creating space for spontaneous creativity and collective euphoria. Their performances combine meditation and improvisation with groove.
Maryama Luccioni, known as Maryisonacid, is a DJ, promoter, curator and founder of the label and event series African Acid Is The Future. Her sets offer a unique blend of diasporic African sounds and electronic grooves that create cinematic and immersive experiences on the dance floor.
In addition to her work as a DJ, Maryisonacid has created radio shows for Worldwide FM and Berlin Community Radio. In 2019, she was appointed guest curator at Berlin's Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. She has performed at clubs such as Panorama Bar in Berghain, Contact Tokyo and Printworks London, and has been a resident DJ at Berlin's Tresor.
Lia de Itamaracá is a prominent figure in ciranda, a music and dance form that embodies the rich cultural heritage of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. A blend of Christian and pagan elements, ciranda uses the tradition of oral transmission to create connections between generations and has become a powerful musical force.
Lia de Itamaracá began her career at a young age, releasing her first album, A Rainha da Ciranda, in 1977. It was not until 1998 that she gained wider recognition, which led to the release of her album Eu Sou Lia in 2002. Her latest work, Ciranda Sem Fim, produced by DJ Dolores, celebrates the ciranda, uniting the essence of the past with the promise of the future of this genre.
To this day, Lia de Itamaracá remains a committed advocate of resistance and enlightenment, with the ciranda as her main tool and purpose.
