The eye-catcher of this exhibition is the original of a 283.5 kg meteorite from the Arizona meteorite crater.

Current knowledge about the sun, planets and small planets, meteorites and comets is conveyed by means of models, charts and texts. Valuable detail is the telescope with which the amateur astronomer Karl Ludwig Hencke discovered the small planet "Astraea" in 1845.
