The music of the Slow Loris Quartet around guitarist and composer Carl Justus Kröning ranges from moving modern jazz ballads to drum 'n bass tracks. All of them are united by a clear style that is also inspired by classical music.

Their special power lies in the large musical arcs, which take their time without being noticed and do so in an impressive calm - although it can also be groovy, fast or loud. This calm has the effect of an extraordinary sound therapy, especially in view of stressful everyday lives, constantly shrinking attention spans and omnipresent constant sound. Meticulously composed material goes hand in hand with skillful improvisation by four experienced musical personalities who have known each other for a long time and work tirelessly on their shared sound.

  • Carl Justus Kröning [guitar and composition]
  • Christopher Lübeck [piano/synthesizer]
  • Johannes Fricke [double bass/e-bass]
  • Claas Lausen [drums]
