Simon Roturier from Concarneau began playing the violin at the age of seven. At the age of 14 he decided to make music his career. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique. After receiving his diploma, he continued his studies at the Lyon Conservatory and attended master classes with Ulf Hölscher, David Grimal and Ida Handel.
