This time, the free admission Museum Sunday in the open-air museum is all about digging, researching and experimenting in archaeology.

Today's museum village is the result of several excavations, years of research and experimental archaeology. This Sunday you can find out how the faithfully reconstructed houses of the museum village were created.
There are also guided tours of the exhibition "Life in the Middle Ages". At one of these, museum curator Dr. Julia Heeb will personally offer exciting insights into this bygone era.
You can also discover exciting hands-on stands on the topics of time, ceramics and our Düppel pasture pigs. All children are invited to take part in a small excavation themselves. They can discover a ceramic shard, uncover it and take it home as a souvenir.

Price info: If possible, please book online a slot ticket in advance on the Museum Sunday Berlin ticket shop. Online tickets are available respectively one week before each Museum Sunday. For spontaneous visits, tickets are available on site.
